I’m an experienced, hands‑on IT Manager with broad expertise across business IT operations. I focus on practical, reliable solutions — modernising infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, improving business continuity, and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.
Over the past year, I have modernised and consolidated infrastructure at the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
Before that, I spent ten years providing end-to-end IT support for CIWEM, covering everything from first-line support to complex escalations and third-party coordination. During that time I reduced costs by bringing hosted services in-house, improved remote-working capabilities (especially valuable during COVID lockdowns), and supported the organisation’s CRM (IMIS).
Alongside BAU operations, I manage forward planning, infrastructure improvements, software evaluation, and identifying emerging business needs — balancing technical quality with financial realism.
